Customer satisfaction is our primary goal at Mile High WS&L Inc. We strive to offer the latest, and best in energy efficiency, paying close attention to detail, and customer Service.

Hi Tony,

With these few cold spells that have rolled through I have been ever-so-appreciative of the new windows you and your crew installed.  I am convinced it was the best decision of the year.
I just wanted to thank you again for all your hard work and hope that you have a great 2014!
I am recommending you any chance that I get so hopefully someone I know will need new windows soon.
I still marvel at how great the windows look, especially the sunroom!
Take care!
Kristin G-
Arvada
Thanks to Kristin, and all my other clients that made 2013 and the last 12 years a great success!

Pella Windows Denver – Replacement Windows by MHWSL

Pella Windows DenverPella Windows Denver

This Pella Windows Denver window replacement project was located in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver, which is known for its historic homes built over 100 years ago. The project called for Pella Precision Fit Architect Series Windows.  By choosing an appropriate replacement window, the owner was able to maintain the inherent historic charm of this beautiful Denver home.

To successfully install these replacement Pella windows, we were required to use EPA approved Lead Safe Practice. This included safe removal of the lead paint in the window area before replacement. The area was contained by masking with proper masking material, and our crew was outfitted in the proper Lead Safe Practice gear.

Episode will begin airing in November 2010 and can be seen on DirectTV channel 230. We’re currently talking about continuing to do more work for Rescue Renovation in the future. Thanks to everyone involved.

We Abide by Lead-safe Practices

As you may have heard the EPA has required that all houses built prior to 1978 must undergo a lead test to detect the presence or absence of lead in construction materials used in the past. This test is provided at no charge to my clients in most cases. If lead is detected we are required to take certain measures (Lead Safe Practices) to control the spread of toxic lead dust. This includes clearly marking and containing the work zone, setting up plastic containments around each window’s interior and tarping the exterior. Also, all workers must wear protective clothing and respirators. In addition, we use the required HEPA-rated vacuums and lead-attractive wipes to clean containment and work areas and properly dispose of the old materials. These procedures do result in additional costs (based on window size) but are necessary to protect the homeowners, renters, children, pets and installers alike. All of these procedures must be documented for our records. Here are some photos taken from several of the lead jobs we have completed. These pictures demonstrate how Mile High Window, Solar & Landscape responsibly deals with this issue. Keep in mind that other companies may not be sufficiently trained or equipped to handle these jobs.IMG_0119

Building a Mountain Deck and Incorporating Existing Aspens

Deck showcasing water feature

Deck showcasing water feature

We at Mile High Window, Solar & Landscape, recently completed this deck in Coal Creek Canyon – located in the foothills northwest of Denver.

Working with environment created an amazing outdoor living space.

We were able to build the deck around the trees to preserve the aspens and incorporate them into the design of the deck – bringing in the natural environment – creating a peaceful space. Almost like sitting in the woods – not separated from it.
The client also wanted to showcase the water feature, so we used a curved line to accentuate it.

Here are some more photos showing the deck and the trees in the design…deck_2
